We have exciting news; we are opening a brand new location in Market Mall, Calgary!

Market Mall is one of the largest malls in Calgary at just over 900,000 sq ft and boasts over 11 million visitors per year. We are very excited to be adding this mall to our AB roster of stores.

We are located directly across from the Latest Scoop on L1, right beside the Safeway and Zara. We are looking at a projected opening date of March 20.

Pricing will be as follows: Entry: $345 +tax 2ft: $445 +tax 3ft: $565 +tax

Vendors from all provinces are welcome to apply, but priority is given to vendors based within the same province as the store (AB).

Okay good news, we were just able to put in an additional order for towers which should start arriving late next week. For the following stores, an additional tower has been ordered:

- Kitsilano

- Guildford

- Park Royal

- Southcentre

- Vaughan Mills

- Oshawa Centre

- Southgate & CrossIron -> 2 towers for each of you have been ordered!

- West Ed -> we are going to get the technician back in for testing, we may have to change the type of system from FM to AM if we cannot get it working at 100%.

Security Tags & Labels

INEO will be sending us some more samples of all the different tag sizes to test. In their opinion, they recommend the 30mm labels to only be used in a double tower setup, and only if you cannot fit a 40mm, 50mm, or barcode label on your product. If you are someone who has experienced a high amount of shrinkage, we would suggest trying out the larger size labels.

Range and performance on a single tower:

- 30 mm -> 2ft - 3ft

- 40mm -> 2.5ft - 3.5ft

- Barcode label -> 2.5ft - 3.5ft

- 50mm -> 3ft - 4ft

With 2 towers, this should cover most doorways, but let's say we have a 6ft door with 2 towers, there is a chance that the 30mm in the center of the doorway would not be detected.

We are opening a brand new location on Robson St projected for Feb 28!

Our new location is in the heart of the busiest area of the Robson St shopping district at 1092 Robson St, Vancouver. We're directly beside the Banana Republic and across from the Sephora, Indigo and Foot Locker.

Hey Makers,

A quick update regarding our Business Dashboard, it has now been renamed to the Makers Help Center.

We hope this change will add some clarity to its purpose and use, as well as set us up nicely as we continue to develop it this year with tutorials, videos, etc. We have just introduced a new feature, an AI Chatbot on the page to help answer your questions and point you in the right direction!
