- Be respectful of the store's staff, this includes refraining from making negative, bullying or harrasing comments in person or via email. Makers expects vendors to treat all staff with kindness and empathy.
- Please be patient when awaiting communication, messages to stores will be answered within 1-3 business days, but some messages can only be responded to by management, who are in-store 5 days a week on variable schedules.
- Be respectful of other vendors, this includes refraining from engaging in harassment, accusatory statements, or making negative or hurtful comments about other vendors' products or displays. Makers expects that all vendors treat each other with respect and kindness.
- Avoid engaging in any form of harassment or discrimination towards staff or vendors, whether based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic. This includes online harassment, emails, instagram posts, and direct messages.
- Keep your display clean and organized, and respect the property of others.
- Follow any applicable laws or regulations, and respect the intellectual property rights of others.
- If you have any concerns or complaints, bring them to the attention of the store's management in a respectful and constructive manner.
- Follow all of Makers' policies and procedures to the best of your ability. The failure to do so repeatedly, or intentionally ignoring, bending or violating our policies and procedures will result in a warning or immediate termination of membership.
- If you witness any behavior that goes against the code of conduct, report it to the store's management.
By following these guidelines, vendors can work together with staff to create a professional and welcoming environment, where customers can shop with confidence.
Any breach of the Maker Code of Conduct will result in immediate termination of your agreement and move out within 48 hours.
