1. Why do I see a transaction with an item price of $0?

Explanation: This indicates a customer return. When an item is returned, the original transaction price reverts to $0, and the quantity to 0. To verify the return, please contact your Makers store location.



2. Why are my inventory items showing a quantity of 0?

Explanation: An inventory quantity of 0 means the item is out of stock at the current location. New Feature: Hover over the "0" quantity to view the location name and the actual quantity available. You can also click through to the item listing for further details.



3. Why does my transaction show a discount?

Explanation: A 13% discount reflects our staff discount policy. This discount is absorbed by Makers and does not impact your sales payout.



4. Why is there a discrepancy between my sales and inventory quantities?

Explanation: This could be due to a technical issue. Before reporting, try these steps:

  • Log out of your account.
  • Clear your browser cache.
  • Log back in.

If the issue persists, report it following the instructions below.



5. How do I report a technical issue with MVPOS?

Procedure: To report technical concerns, follow these steps:

  1. Open the MVPOS application.
  2. From the left-side menu, select the MVPOS Support function.
  3. Provide a detailed description of the issue, including screenshots if possible.
  4. Submit the report.


6. Why am I not receiving sale notification emails?

Explanation: This could be due to a technical issue. Before reporting, try these steps:

  • Go to Account Setting - In the top right corner of your MVPOS screen
  • Ensure the box beside your location is checked to receive sale notifications.

If the issue persists, report it following the instructions below.



7. How do I run a time-limited in-store sale or promotion for my products?

Procedure:

  1. In your MVPOS inventory, add the Sale Price, Sale Start Date, and Sale End Date to the relevant item.
  2. Use secure, professional signage to communicate the promotion to customers. Handwritten signs are not allowed. Signage must be placed within your assigned space.
  3. Notify your store manager about the promotion via email. Store Contact Information


8. How do I run an ongoing in-store sale or promotion for my products?

Procedure:

  1. Create a separate inventory item for the promo. Example: VendorCode-ItemCode: "2 for $20"
  2. Label each item with promotion details. Example: VendorCode-ItemCode: "Buy 1 for $12" VendorCode-ItemCode: "Buy 2 for $20" This helps staff apply discounts at checkout without needing to reference your shelf.
