effective july 1, 2026 overview to ensure fair use of space, consistent visual merchandising, and safe store layouts, the following policy applies to exposed side display usage across all locations an exposed side display is defined as any shelf or display with one or more exposed/open sides , that features product (examples/testers), displays, signage and/or shoppable products these "extra" spaces are including, but not limited to 2ft, 3ft, and 4ft displays with an open, merchandised side vendors located at the end of an entry shelf run using the exposed outer side as utilized space stand alone displays placed at the end of an entry shelf run with utilized exposed side(s) any shelf positioned where one or both sides are not bound by another display or wall and features utilized/merchandised/shoppable space exposed side display usage & fees use of an open or exposed shelf side to display products is considered additional usable space and is subject to overage charges each open side is charged separately exposed side usage is billed as a 0 5ft overage per open side charges are applied monthly and added to the vendorβs membership fee pricing is calculated using the existing 0 5ft shelf overage rate for the vendorβs store location please see overage rate for fees design, height & safety requirements all exposed side displays must comply with existing design requirements , including the following height limitations entry shelf the top shelf display height must not exceed 18 inches all shelving units maximum height of 7 ft , not including signage in addition displays must remain stable, safe, and visually cohesive exposed side display usage must not obstruct customer flow, sightlines, or adjacent vendors store management reserves the right to require modification or removal of any end cap display that poses a safety, operational, or aesthetic concern disclosure, measurement & enforcement vendors must disclose any intended exposed side display usage to store management prior to move in all displays are measured post move in and during routine audits if unapproved exposed side display usage is identified membership fees will be adjusted automatically vendors will be notified of the applicable overage charges or, unapproved exposed side display usage may be modified or removed at the discretion of store management failure to correct or disclose exposed side display usage may result in continued monthly charges or further action under store policies important notes entry shelves are provided by the store; exposed side display usage on entry shelves is not exempt from this policy exposed side display charges do not replace or override other applicable overage fees store management has final discretion in determining chargeable exposed side display usage and applicable fees example photos
